maiden’s breast from afar

nurturing nipple dome

she shelters your spirit

and calls you back home

 

pyramid amidst a plane

stands behind factory and farm

temple of spectrum hues

cycles through seasons and moons

 

sunset respite under twilight

compass to sailors at sea

and pilots in flight

 

mythic Monadnock

mysterious mountain

keeper of ten million tales

your trails are spun

from summit’s center

and web us into one.
